{"id":1722,"date":"2022-08-08T19:00:31","date_gmt":"2022-08-08T19:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/josecarlosdemier.com\/?p=1722"},"modified":"2022-08-08T19:00:35","modified_gmt":"2022-08-08T19:00:35","slug":"toyota-crown-2023-un-sedan-con-aspiraciones-suv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/josecarlosdemier.com\/en\/toyota-crown-2023-un-sedan-con-aspiraciones-suv\/","title":{"rendered":"Toyota Crown 2023: un sed\u00e1n con aspiraciones SUV"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El <strong>Toyota Crown 2023<\/strong> llega para relevar al <strong>Avalon<\/strong>, con fuertes influencias de SUV\/Crossover y tracci\u00f3n total h\u00edbrida.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un sed\u00e1n m\u00e1s que se va<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En el lento e inexorable retroceso del segmento sed\u00e1n, <strong>Toyota<\/strong> anunci\u00f3 el a\u00f1o pasado que dejar\u00eda de fabricar el <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/test-drive-toyota-avalon-trd-2020-la-mezcla-justa\/\">Avalon<\/a><\/strong> para el mercado Norteamericano en su planta de Georgetown, Kentucky, que mantiene la producci\u00f3n de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/toyota-camry-trd-2020-este-no-es-para-los-abuelos\/\">Camry<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/toyota-rav4-prime-phev-2021-y-una-larga-diatriba-sobre-autos-electricos\/\">RAV4<\/a><\/strong> y <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kom8u3BbB-Y\">Lexus ES<\/a><\/strong>. El sed\u00e1n se seguir\u00e1 fabricando en China, pero en esta zona se une a nombres como <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/foto-galeria\/11-sedanes-que-se-fueron\/\">Taurus, 200, LaCrosse<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/foto-galeria\/9-mas-1-sedanes-que-se-van\/\">Impala<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/kia-refresca-el-k900-mientras-y-le-baja-el-precio\/\">K900<\/a><\/strong> o <strong>Azera<\/strong>. El <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MFPEeGzwGhg\">Avalon<\/a><\/strong> desplaz\u00f3 en 2021 <strong>18,280 unidades<\/strong>, un poco m\u00e1s que el <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/nissan-maxima-40th-anniversary-despedida-o-celebracion\/\">Nissan Maxima<\/a><\/strong> o el <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/chrysler-300c-edicion-limitada-john-varvatos\/\">Chrysler 300<\/a><\/strong>, pero en <strong>Toyota<\/strong> consideraron que no son suficientes, especialmente al compararlo con las <strong>45,406 unidades<\/strong> del <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/prueba-de-manejo-lexus-es-350-f-sport-sofisticado-y-poderoso\/\">Lexus ES<\/a><\/strong> con el que comparte base.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/toyotacrown202305.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/toyotacrown202305.jpg\" alt=\"toyota-crown-2023.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114690\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Cajuela de apertura convencional<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Y llega un nuevo\u2026 \u00bfSed\u00e1n?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora, para su relevo se anuncia al <strong>Toyota Crown<\/strong>, una de las placas con m\u00e1s tradici\u00f3n en la marca, pues lleva 16 generaciones desde 1955 y que estuvo presente en Norteam\u00e9rica hasta 1972. El sed\u00e1n de tama\u00f1o completo es uno m\u00e1s que ha sucumbido a la \u201ccrossoverizaci\u00f3n\u201d; no se trata de un modelo con tanto despeje al suelo como un <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/volvo-s60-cross-country\/\">Volvo S60 Cross Country<\/a> <\/strong>(aunque <strong>Toyota<\/strong> dice que tiene 4\u201d extra contra un<strong> Camry<\/strong>), sino m\u00e1s bien, un sed\u00e1n con una cabina muy alta, con mucha \u00e1rea de l\u00e1mina en los laterales. Piensen en \u00e9l como la reivindicaci\u00f3n del <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/bmw-serie-5-gran-turismo-prueba-de-manejo\/\">BMW Serie 5\/6 Gran Turismo<\/a><\/strong>, m\u00e1s que una <strong>X6<\/strong>.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/toyotacrown202302.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/toyotacrown202302.jpg\" alt=\"toyota-crown-2023.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114687\" \/><\/a><figcaption>La primera impresi\u00f3n es de un perfil afilado<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Toyota Crown 2023<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Basado en la plataforma <strong>TNGA-K<\/strong>, el frente del <strong>Crown<\/strong> es inequ\u00edvocamente <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/toma-de-contacto-toyota-highlander-hybrid-bronze-edition\/\">Toyota<\/a><\/strong>, con una gran toma de aire trapezoidal y faros \u201cenojados\u201d delgados. Hay muchos adornos gruesos en negro brillante que intentan disimular la alta l\u00ednea de cintura, que al menos en las fotos de prensa, parece superar los codos de los modelos. Lo mismo aplica para la pintura bitono opcional y los rines de hasta 21 pulgadas (19\u201d de serie). Por el lado, elementos en pl\u00e1stico mate en los bajos y el captador de luz buscan dar el mismo efecto, mientras que el perfil es bastante afilado, casi como un Fastback, aunque hablamos de un sed\u00e1n convencional.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/toyotacrown202303.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/toyotacrown202303.jpg\" alt=\"toyota-crown-2023.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114688\" \/><\/a><figcaption>L\u00ednea de cintura muy alto<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>M\u00e1s alto, pero no demasiado<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Las medidas corroboran la impresi\u00f3n de altura. Aunque no es m\u00e1s largo que el <strong>Avalon<\/strong> (<strong>194.1<\/strong> vs. 196 pulgadas, 4.93 vs. 4.98 m), m\u00e1s ancho (<strong>72.4<\/strong> vs. 72.8\u201d, 1.84 vs. 1.85 m) ni tiene mayor distancia entre ejes (<strong>112.2 <\/strong>vs. 113\u201d, 2.85 vs. 2.87 m), s\u00ed es decididamente m\u00e1s alto (<strong>60.6<\/strong> vs. 56.5\u201d, 1.54 vs. 1.43 m). Sin embargo, no llega a ser tan alto como una RAV4 FWD (67\u201d, 1.70m) Por detr\u00e1s, una delgada l\u00ednea enmarca las calaveras corridas y la apertura de la cajuela; y si el pilar C flotante les record\u00f3 a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=T2PNp4bZYo0&amp;t=4s\">Nissan<\/a><\/strong>, no son los \u00fanicos.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/toyotacrown202306.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/toyotacrown202306.jpg\" alt=\"toyota-crown-2023.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114691\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Interior conservador<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Interior y equipamiento<\/strong> del Crown<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El interior del <strong>Toyota Crown <\/strong>es dominado por formas cuadradas suavizadas en las aristas que, de nuevo, no se ver\u00edan mal en una camioneta. Encontramos una pantalla alta de <strong>12.3\u201d<\/strong> y un tablero asim\u00e9trico t\u00edpico de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/galardonado-el-concepto-toyota-compact-cruiser-ev\/\">Toyota<\/a><\/strong>. Seg\u00fan el nivel, podemos encontrar faros LED, techo panor\u00e1mico, asientos ventilados y calefactados, actualizaciones por aire, comandos de voz, sonido <strong>JBL<\/strong> de 11 bocinas, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, <strong>Amazon Music<\/strong>, red 4G, suspensi\u00f3n adaptativa y climatizador dual. En seguridad integra la suite <strong>Toyota Safety Sense 3.0<\/strong>.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/toyotacrown202309.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/toyotacrown202309.jpg\" alt=\"toyota-crown-2023.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114692\" \/><\/a><figcaption>S\u00f3lo motores h\u00edbridos con tracci\u00f3n total<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Motores h\u00edbridos con AWD<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El sistema h\u00edbrido b\u00e1sico <strong>THS <\/strong>tiene un tetracilindro 2.5 l con tracci\u00f3n total de serie y caja eCVT, con modos Eco, Normal y Sport. Promete un consumo combinado de <strong>38 MPG<\/strong> y el ajuste es de unos <strong>236 hp<\/strong>; recordemos que <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Qt4K4OMuNmU&amp;t=4s\">Toyota<\/a><\/strong> no suele compartir la cifra de par de sus h\u00edbridos.
