Repasemos su historia.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hyundai Genesis, el principio de todo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Los autos coreanos son econ\u00f3micos, con una gran garant\u00eda, mucho equipamiento y de dise\u00f1o no muy inspirado. Esa la idea hace m\u00e1s de 15 a\u00f1os, pero <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/kelley-blue-book-best-buy-2021-hyundai-kia-y-toyota-dominan\/\">Hyundai-Kia<\/a><\/strong> inici\u00f3 una revoluci\u00f3n que no s\u00f3lo los llevar\u00eda a competir con los modelos m\u00e1s equipados, sofisticados y potentes del segmento generalista; tambi\u00e9n los puso frente a frente en el <strong>segmento premium<\/strong>. Todo comenz\u00f3 en 2008 con el lanzamiento del <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/hyundai-genesis-finalista-para-el-north-american-car-of-the-year-2015\/\">Hyundai Genesis<\/a><\/strong>, un sed\u00e1n de cinco metros (196 pulgadas) y base de propulsi\u00f3n trasera.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/hyundaigenesis2009.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/hyundaigenesis2009.jpg\" alt=\"hyundai-genesis-2009.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114768\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Hyundai Genesis 2009<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Asalto al segmento Premium<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No apuntaba a competir con sedanes grandes generalistas; para eso estaba el <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/azera-2015-la-nueva-apuesta-de-hyundai\/\">Azera<\/a><\/strong> de tracci\u00f3n delantera. El <strong>Hyundai Genesis<\/strong> llevaba de serie un V6 3.8 l de <strong>270 hp y 233 lb-pie<\/strong>; pero pod\u00eda pedirlo con un V8 Tau de 4.6 litros con <strong>368 hp y 333 lb-pie<\/strong>, que no s\u00f3lo lo pon\u00eda contra los <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/chrysler-300c-prueba-de-manejo\/\">Chrysler 300C<\/a><\/strong> y <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/el-dodge-viper-y-el-pontiac-g8-seguiran-vivos\/\">Pontiac G8<\/a><\/strong> de la \u00e9poca. Tambi\u00e9n se atrev\u00eda a enfrentar a sedanes de BMW, Lexus, Audi, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz o Jaguar. M\u00e1s adelante le sigui\u00f3 un <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/el-hyundai-genesis-coupe-podria-tener-un-v6-con-mas-de-400-hp\/\">Genesis Coup\u00e9<\/a><\/strong>, aunque lamentablemente este s\u00f3lo se pod\u00eda pedir con motores L4 y V6.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/hyundaiequus2011.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/hyundaiequus2011.jpg\" alt=\"hyundai-equus-2011.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114767\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Hyundai Equus 2011<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Buque insignia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2009 lleg\u00f3 un sed\u00e1n a\u00fan m\u00e1s grande: el <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/hyundai-equus-2016-con-avanzadas-funciones-de-seguridad\/\">Hyundai Equus<\/a><\/strong>, con los mismos motores V6 y V8. De hecho, en Corea era ya la segunda generaci\u00f3n del sed\u00e1n Full-Size, pero hasta la segunda se atrevieron a lanzarlo en su invasi\u00f3n del mercado internacional. Ambos sedanes tuvieron un \u00e9xito moderado; el <strong>Genesis <\/strong>lleg\u00f3 a venderse m\u00e1s que el <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/cadillac-cts-sedan-2014-prueba-a-fondo\/\">Cadillac CTS<\/a><\/strong> o el <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/el-audi-a6-obtiene-5-estrellas-en-seguridad\/\">Audi A6<\/a><\/strong>. Era momento del segundo asalto.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/hyundaigenesiscoupe2010.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/hyundaigenesiscoupe2010.jpg\" alt=\"hyundai-genesis-coupe-2010.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114769\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2010<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fichajes internacionales<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/nyias-2022-wcoty-hyundai-ioniq-5-world-car-of-the-year-2022\/\">Hyundai<\/a><\/strong> realiz\u00f3 el fichaje de importantes nombres en la industria, como el dise\u00f1ador <strong>Peter Schreyer<\/strong> (Volkswagen, Audi) o el ingeniero <strong>Albert Biermann<\/strong> (BMW M) para el desarrollo de nuevos modelos; incluyendo la siguiente generaci\u00f3n de sus sedanes grandes. M\u00e1s adelante se les unieron el directivo <strong>Manfred Fitzgerald<\/strong> (Lamborghini) y el dise\u00f1ador <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/el-disenador-luc-donckerwolke-world-car-person-of-the-year-2022%ef%bf%bc\/\">Luc Donckerwolke<\/a><\/strong> (SEAT, Lamborghini, Bentley). La segunda generaci\u00f3n del <strong>Hyundai Genesis<\/strong> lleg\u00f3 en 2013, con un importante salto en calidad y dise\u00f1o. Sin embargo, se decidi\u00f3 seguir el camino trazado por divisiones premium como Infiniti, Acura, Lexus o DS.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/genesisg80202101.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/genesisg80202101.jpg\" alt=\"genesis-g80-2021.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114763\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Genesis G80 2021<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Expansi\u00f3n sed\u00e1n<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2015, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/hyundai-national-salute-to-americas-heroes-2022-tributo-a-los-veteranos\/\">Hyundai<\/a><\/strong> escindi\u00f3 sus sedanes grandes de propulsi\u00f3n trasera en una nueva marca: Genesis, es decir, con el nombre del sed\u00e1n que comenz\u00f3 todo. Como casi todos los fabricantes premium, opt\u00f3 por una nueva nomenclatura alfanum\u00e9rica, de modo que para el modelo 2016, el Hyundai Genesis pas\u00f3 a llamarse <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BHsMxnFFzJI&amp;t=163s\">Genesis G80<\/a><\/strong>; tristemente, sin un&nbsp; derivado Coup\u00e9. En 2016, la siguiente generaci\u00f3n del <strong>Equus<\/strong> pas\u00f3 a llamarse <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tu5TAavbYMA&amp;t=3s\">G90<\/a><\/strong>. En 2017 lleg\u00f3 un sed\u00e1n de acceso, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0vE7dTDrUjM&amp;t=3s\">G70<\/a><\/strong>, que compart\u00eda base y motores con el celebrado <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PgfIn6NVF7E\">Kia Stinger<\/a><\/strong>.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/genesisgv80202110.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/genesisgv80202110.jpg\" alt=\"genesis-gv80-2021.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114766\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Genesis GV80 2021<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SUVs para Genesis<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde la d\u00e9cada pasada los sedanes comenzaron a declinar, en favor de las cada vez m\u00e1s omnipresentes <strong>SUVs\/Crossovers<\/strong>, por lo que era un segmento que la naciente marca deb\u00eda atacar s\u00ed o s\u00ed. En 2017 se present\u00f3 un concepto llamado <strong>GV80<\/strong>; mismo nombre con el que vio la luz el modelo de producci\u00f3n en 2020. La <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qoPjT5iPVjY\">GV80<\/a><\/strong> no s\u00f3lo fue la primera SUV de <strong>Genesis;<\/strong> fue la primera SUV Premium coreana y el primer modelo de la marca en estrenar el dise\u00f1o de parrilla de escudo y luces formadas por dos l\u00edneas paralelas, \u201cAthletic Elegance\u201d. Vimos un previo en el facelift del <strong>G90 <\/strong>en 2018.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/genesisgv70202202.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/genesisgv70202202.jpg\" alt=\"genesis-gv70-2022.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114765\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Genesis GV70 2022<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ventas en constante aumento<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El dise\u00f1o corporativo luego recay\u00f3 en las siguientes generaciones del <strong>G80<\/strong> (2020) y el <strong>G90 <\/strong>(2021), as\u00ed como el redise\u00f1o de media vida del <strong>G70<\/strong> (2020) y la segunda SUV de la marca, la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lr7-MenRJzY&amp;t=2s\">GV70<\/a><\/strong> (2021). La incorporaci\u00f3n de dos SUVs\/Crossovers de propulsi\u00f3n trasera y opci\u00f3n a motores V6 turboalimentados termin\u00f3 por catapultar las ventas de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/genesis-gv70-2022-proximo-campeon-de-ventas\/\">Genesis<\/a><\/strong>, gracias a lo cual, ha sido una de las pocas marcas <a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/junio-2022-ford-y-genesis-rompen-la-tendencia-a-la-baja\/\">en reportar crecimiento desde 2020<\/a>, pese a la pandemia.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/genesisgv6001.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/genesisgv6001.jpg\" alt=\"genesis-gv60-2023.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-114764\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Genesis GV60 2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Genesis el\u00e9ctricos<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El siguiente paso es <a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/entrevista-con-claudia-marquez-coo-de-genesis-norte-america-en-el-2030-toda-nuestra-gama-sera-electrica\/\">la electrificaci\u00f3n<\/a>. Ya hemos visto en mercados internacionales variantes 100% el\u00e9ctricas del <strong>G80<\/strong> (2021), con una autonom\u00eda de hasta 520 km (<strong>323 millas<\/strong>, seg\u00fan el optimista ciclo WLTP), as\u00ed como de la <strong>GV70 <\/strong>(2022) con <strong>400 km<\/strong> (249 millas). Sin embargo, el paso m\u00e1s importante es la SUV el\u00e9ctrica <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/foto-galeria\/genesis-gv60-el-primer-crossover-electrico-de-la-marca\/\">Genesis GV60<\/a><\/strong>, que comparte la plataforma <strong>E-GMP<\/strong> con los <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/queautocompro.com\/kia-ev6-hyundai-ioniq-5-y-genesis-gv60-cuales-son-las-diferencias\/\">Kia EV6 y Hyundai IONIQ 5<\/a><\/strong>. Se puede elegir en variantes AWD con <strong>314<\/strong> o <strong>429 hp,<\/strong> ambos con <strong>446 lb-pie<\/strong>. La autonom\u00eda estimada ser\u00e1 de <strong>248<\/strong> o <strong>235 millas<\/strong> (399-378 km), cifras estimadas por la <strong>EPA<\/strong>, que tienden a ser m\u00e1s realistas \u00bfEst\u00e1n listos para darle una oportunidad a los autos de lujo coreanos?<br><br>\u00bfM\u00e1s viajes en la historia?
